Lee D. Cumbie
Hello. I was born in Dade City, Florida in 1960. I lived in Florida until entering military service in June of 1983.

I served in the U.S. Navy aboard the nuclear submarine U.S.S. Lewis & Clark, SSBN 644 as a nuclear qualified machinist mate in Charleston, S.C. until July of 1987. Upon receiving an Honorable Discharge, I went to work as an electrical/mechanical technician for Michelin Tire Corp. at their Lexington, S.C. plant. I completed my undergraduate degree through a transfer program with Regents College in Albany, N.Y. by attending night school at the University of South Carolina.

I entered law school in 1994. I graduated cum laude from Campbell University's N.A.W. School of Law in 1997. While in law school, I taught an accredited Law Firm Computer Lab course as an adjunct professor of law which I continue to teach to this day. I am licensed to practice in N.C. and S.C. 

In addition to teaching numerous CLE's in N.C. and S.C., I am the past chair of the Law Practice Management section of the N.C. Bar Assn. and a member of the Technology Committee of the S.C. Bar.

My wife, Karen, and I live in Dunn where we are slowly renovating one of North Carolina's historic homes of the late 1800's. We have a son, Jashua, and two daughters, Kyrissa and Delaney. 

Carl Roberts
A graduate of Campbell University School of Law, Carl practiced law in Charlotte, N.C. with his father, James L. Roberts, before joining CLOAC. 

Prior to attending law school, Carl worked as a licensed CPA for over eight years, five of which were as an auditor with the firm of KPMG Peat Marwick. Carl's expertise includes the computerization of all aspects of law office accounting and includes certifications in Amicus Attorney, Abacus, PracticeMaster, TABS III and PCLaw.
